Hi, I’m Aimee and I’m a Health and Fitness Blogger from Dublin!

Five years ago I was introduced to Crossfit and my life completely changed. Before Crossfit, I was a party girl and was usually out partying 2/3 days a week. During that time, I never thought about the affects it would have on my health and well-being.  I was never sporty growing up, but did attend weekly dance classes, and competitions. So how did I end up here? I was introduced to Crossfit through friends (now my coaches). In those early days, we trained in a local park and I loved it. (I also met Mr. PP here which I’m sure influenced my dedication!)

I’ve always had a love of cooking and baking.  My first and still favourite cookbook is Roald Dahl’s Revolting Recipes. I got it when I was 8, and have great memories picking a wacky recipe every week and baking with my Mam.

I suppose if you asked people to describe me, you’d get an array of answers; Bonkers, eccentric, determined, caring, strong, creative, loving. I’m basically a big, crazy softie!

I’m happiest when creating new recipes in the kitchen, sharing a bottle of (red) wine with Mr.PP, and talking about our goals, Sundays with the family, long chats with friends, shaking my bootay on a Saturday night, throwing weights around the gym, that nervous feeling I get before I compete, not having to set my alarm for the following morning, and travelling. It’s a list full of love and dedication, and it makes me smile every day.

I feel so lucky to have been featured on some amazing sites. You can find my work here:

  1. hi Aimee, an interesting twist on the fish cakes in NOT to blitz the fish but chop smallish and mix with breadcrumbs plus some greek yoghurt . Shape, coat with breadcrumbs and leave in fridge 2/3 hrs then cook.

  2. Hello! I just wanted to let you know that I have nominated you for a Liebster Blog Award. You will see from my original posting of this that it was a little over a month ago. Apologies for my delay in contacting you. I was on holidays and it just completely slipped my mind. Hope you can forgive me. And thank you for your very enjoyable blog! -Emer. xx
